Ran Neu-Ner is a born entrepreneur.
He graduated from university with a B.Com and a CFA and having the added qualification of entrepreneurial drive, he was ready to be unleashed onto the world of real business.
After a number of business ventures – some hugely successful and some not – Neu-Ner started The Creative Counsel, a below-the-line activations company, with school friend Gil Oved in 2001.
Their passion and creativity paid off, and today The Creative Counsel is South Africa’s leading activations agency with an annual turnover of R500 million.
In 2010 he joined the Young Presidents Organisation, a global network of successful CEO’s, sharing learnings and ideas exchange where he is still an active member. He has also taken on an EXCO role for the Johannesburg City Chapter.

In 2015 Ran concluded the biggest business transaction in South Africa where he sold The Creative Counsel to a French owned international business, The Publicis Groupe for just over R2 billion.
Ran has been a part of the Blockchain world since 2013 and has advised several projects. He is the founder of Onchain Capital, a Crypto Asset Fund. In 2017 Ran’s obsession with cryptocurrency has inspired him to start and host the world’s first televised cryptocurrency show called Crypto Trader which is aired weekly on a Thursday night at 20:30 on CNBC Africa, DSTV channel 410. On the show, he interviews blockchain and cryptocurrency experts on ICO’s and cryptocurrency trends. In 2017 he was voted #79 of the 100 most influential people in Crypto Currency in the world.
